Extra Curricular Activities
School Celebrations
A monthly celebration is held at the church. All children attend and participate in the preparation and singing during mass and celebrations.
School Choir (Grades 3 - 8)
Children are taught songs and use their talents and skills in playing the music. The choir performs at our monthly celebrations. Practices are held during lunchtime.
Learning Fair
An annual learning fair is held at the school. 0ur students have also experienced great success and earned recognition for their participation in the Manitoba Schools Science Symposium held each spring. This opportunity to gain real experience with the scientific and design process has proven invaluable to our students.
Dramatic Productions
Each year we strive to host at least one dramatic production. Our Christmas concert, for example, has become one of our most popular events.
Student Council
Our student council (grade 1-8) is a student led organization that coordinates activities for the entire student body. It is made up of class reps and an elected executive.
Sports Programs (Grades 4 - 8)
Our school participates in leagues and meets with other independent and public schools in Winnipeg for volleyball, basketball, badminton, running club, and track and field. An intramural sports program is also offered during lunch time.
