“What is Advent all about?”, you may ask yourself. The answer is right here! Advent is a time when we wait for Christ or ‘Christ-mas’. Some families have those things called advent wreaths. Those wreaths have candles. One candle is lit each Sunday. The first, second, and fourth ones are purple. The third candle is pink. The meaning of each candle is hope, peace, joy, and love. Our class coloured little pieces of paper and wrote a word or phrase according to what candle we get assigned.
Today we made angel wings for our Christmas concert. Our teacher, Mrs. Aco, supplied us with angel wings with tinsel. We took a pair of angel wings and then came the magic. We took some coffee filters, folded them back, and cut it in half. After that, we glued the pieces from bottom to top. Once it dried, they looked like feathers.
