Our class had the privilege of joining the Remembrance Day Poster Contest last November. We made posters to remember the soldiers who died in war to make our country into what it is today. We tried to make a detailed description in one picture of a respectful drawing. After we made our drawings, we wrote our names and sent them in. The Belgian Veteran’s Association decided on the winners. Last Saturday, April 6, 2024, our class received certificates. Makaila, William, and myself each had a special framed certificate for winning. Other members of the club got pins for being veterans for 20 to 45 years. We took pictures and had some snacks. Overall, it was really fun.
