Science Experiments on Light

We learned a lot from the science experiment on light. We learned about reflection, which happens when you shine a light on a shiny object. When we turned off the lights, we got a flashlight and pointed it at things to see if they were opaque, transparent, or translucent. There were a lot of translucent things! We also shined a light on a clear prism. It made a rainbow. The easiest colour to see for me were purple, red, orange, green, and yellow.

Another thing we did for our unit on light was to make a shadow play. We made our own fable and puppets. We first drew the puppets and cut them out after. Then, we practiced our script. Mrs. Aco called each group when it was our time to perform. We had so much fun!
